Discrimination in Jamaica

The Tainos were there in Jamaica and then black folks were taken from their "Motherland of Africa" by force into slavery in chains by the British; beaten, starved, raped, and tossed overboard. Many of you are not aware that the Transatlantic Slave Trade was genocide, it was the biggest human trafficking and exploitation. We have seen discrimination ever since and it continues in the 21st Century. Don't be alarmed that some people with lighter complexion are preferred over darker skin people because it has been implanted in their heads to hate and that mentality continues with many. Is that the cause why our young people bleached their skin with chemicals? Refer back to the news when hotels in Jamaica were requesting lighter complexion students who were enrolled in hospitality courses. Refer to Spanish Court Hotel in Montego Bay with a manager terminate a young man who was assisting guest that became viral on social media. He was also a racist. What is your opinion regarding discrimination in Jamaica?
